Stitch & structure
Give the material
its character.
Gauge, stitch and construction shape the way a garment looks and moves. We explore these together across 1.5G, 3G, 5G, 7G, 9G, 12G, 14G, 16G and 18G, matching the gauge to the design intention, yarn and construction. Our particular strength is fine-gauge precision and detail.
Swatch development
Start small.
Learn before sampling.
Development often begins with a swatch, not a full garment. A focused material and stitch test helps us assess texture, drape and structure before committing to a prototype.

Prototype & fit
Bring the idea
into proportion.
The first prototype brings material, shape and construction together. We review body length, shoulder, sleeve, collar and overall fit alongside hand feel and garment weight.
It is the point where decisions made in a swatch are tested in a complete product.
Refinement
The first sample
is a conversation.
We use sample feedback to refine fit, structure and detail. Adjustments may involve yarn, gauge, colour, construction, embellishment or finishing—always considered as part of the whole product.
The aim is an approved sample with a clear direction for production.

From approved sample
to production.
Once development is confirmed, the agreed material, construction and finishing details guide production. Our closely connected workshop keeps the product decisions made during sampling in view through manufacturing and quality control.

Quantities are totals per style, not per colour or size. Colour and size breakdowns are agreed for each order. Lead times are typical and depend on yarn availability, style complexity and approval timing.
