Workshop / Dongguan, China

Close to the product.
At every stage.

Development, sampling, knitting, linking, hand craft and finishing stay closely connected—carrying the decisions made in a sample through to production.

From sample to production

A connected way
of making.

A garment moves through different hands and different processes. Keeping the material, construction and intended finish in view helps those stages work together.

We bring development-led thinking to production, with attention to the details established in the approved sample.

The making process

From knitted panels
to a finished piece.

01 / Knitting

Structure takes shape.

Yarn, stitch and shaping come together in the knitted panels. Gauge and construction follow the direction developed through sampling.

02 / Linking & assembly

Attention at every join.

Panels are brought together with attention to seam alignment, edges and the way the garment sits. Assembly is considered alongside the knitted structure.

03 / Finishing

The final hand feel.

Finishing is developed around the yarn and intended effect, with attention to surface, shape and the overall handle of the garment.
